Kimberly Erickson lives in Monmouth, Oregon with her writer husband, Karl Erickson. Kimberly is currently concentrating on her original glass art and one of a kind glass pieces. She's illustrated two of her husband’s children's books currently published by Rafka Press. Karl and Kimberly enjoy working together on uplifting books for children.
As the daughter of acclaimed illustrator and sculptor John Carroll Collier and the granddaughter of successful landscape artist Carroll Collier, Kimberly is no stranger to the arts. Over the last decade in particular, Kimberly has experimented with a wide variety of art mediums--including "water gilding”, the art of covering objects in gold leaf, painting with gouache or opaque watercolors, and the creation of colorful artwork in glass. Her beautiful artwork conveys how she sees the world.
